Are you still able to dispense my prescription if it has been issued in Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland?

Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our hands, we are unable to dispense prescriptions which have been issued in Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland.

Hopefully in the future, regulations will change and we will be able to provide our services to patients in these areas.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering a prescription?

To change your delivery address after ordering a prescription, please get in touch with the Medicine Management Team on 0113 245 4544 – we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to avoid incorrect deliveries.

Can I still collect my prescriptions?

If you would prefer to collect your medication yourself, simply let our Medicine Management Team know on 0113 245 4544 or send them a message via the Contact Us page. If you would like to switch to deliveries at a later date, you can change your preference by contacting the team.

How are my prescriptions delivered to me?

Depending on your delivery location, we will either use our own dedicated delivery drivers (if you are situated in Leeds, York, Wakefield or Harrogate), or the Royal Mail for all national deliveries. They will be delivered in plain, discreet packaging.

We’ll let you know when we despatch your medicines and Royal Mail may send you an email or text message on the day of delivery to let you know when your parcel will arrive.

We can deliver to wherever is suitable for you - at work, at a family members house, or with a neighbour.

If you would rather pick them up, your medication can be delivered to your local Living Care Pharmacy.

How can MedicineAdvisor help me to support pharmacies?

Unfortunately, fitting a trip to the pharmacy around work, family, social and health commitments means that many repeat prescriptions go uncollected. MedicineAdvisor has partnered with a growing number of affiliate pharmacies in order to provide a direct-to-the-door service for their customers, allowing for better overall service without detracting from individual pharmacies.

How do I register with MedicineAdvisor?

Registration is free and simple – just select the ‘Register Now’ button on our homepage or click here. If you would like any assistance with registering, simply call the team on 0113 245 4544 and we will endeavour to help you through the process.

How does the repeat prescription service work?

Our repeat prescription service is straight-forward and designed to take the hassle out of reordering your repeats. It takes just five steps to get your prescriptions to you:

  1. Our Medicines Management Team will contact you to remind you that your latest prescription is due
  2. We will then order your prescription from your doctor on your behalf
  3. When we receive your prescription from your doctor, our pharmacy team will then dispense your prescription
  4. Once ready, the delivery team spring in to action and will deliver your medication straight to your front door, free of charge. If you’d prefer, you can also pick up the medication yourself from your local Living Care Pharmacy.
  5. Your prescription reorder date is calculated and the whole process starts again!

How else can MedicineAdvisor help me?

Our Medicine Management Team is always on hand to discuss such needs with our patients. How long will my prescription take to arrive?

Depending on your personal preference, we will either deliver your medication as soon as we receive your prescription from the GP, deliver on an agreed date set with yourself, or get in contact with you to agree suitable delivery arrangements. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in giving us a call on 0113 245 4544.

What happens to my delivery if I’m not in?

If you miss your delivery, a 'Missed Delivery' note will be left, giving details on how to rearrange delivery. For patients within Leeds, York, Harrogate and Wakefield, this will be with us. For national deliveries it will be with Royal Mail.
